I am purchasing a set of Alloys from ebay

SIZE: 8.0x18" 5x100/114 ET45

I own a Turbo MKIII - the supplier wants to know if my model has the bigger front brakes?

I think my car is 5x114 35to42.

So the bolt plan and diametre are fine. What about the offset?

Unless you've upgraded them yourself, no. All models used the same calipers. Hell, even if they were one of the more common upgrades 18" would clear just fine.

Another term for the center bore adapters is hub centric rings or hub centric adapter rings (may be a North American colloquial term)... and yes, they are important. Also, rims with a smaller center bore than Bill mentioned will not work on the car without machining or.... <gulp> spacers to serve as adapters (not recommended).

I will have to keep looking till I find a set I like that come in correct OFFSET

Tell them you have larger brakes, in case you do want to upgrade the brakes down the road.

I am looking for a gloss balck set of 18", would like staggered with wider on the back. I like single 5 spoke.

Right I have found a set I like. OFFSET, BORE etc is spot on. Should I go:

8.5x18" Front 9.5x18" Rear

or

8.5x19" Front & Rear

I am not entirely sure on all these different specs to match up the correct wheels and the vehicle. I have an 87 Turbo and I find it very hard to find wheels that I both aesthetically like and the specs to match.

I want to get a set of the new Enkei GTC-01\'s and I found the size with an offset of 35mm and correct bolt pattern however the enkei website lists the wheels at the 75mm bore diameter and not the "ideal" diameter of 60mm as cited above. Will this still work on an 87 supra?
