all my injector plugs are white on my 87 non turbo. It seems like a timing problem for sure, i just went through the same thing on mine today after putting new JDM in it. if your certain the timing belt is on correctly, then the next step would be the ignition timing. Check and double check that. The distributor needs to be in the right spot for things to run smoothly. I had mine running and idling today, then went and turned the distributor a lil more in an attempt to change it even more and it wouldnt start at all would start shooting fire out the exhaust manifold even
so make sure you set your engine to TDC and re-align the gear on the dist and do exactly how it says in the book and see if that will start her up. Good luck, hope this helps you some.
