Will a 2jz-gte or a 1jz-gte fit in the MKIII i have a 7m ge non turbo

I know i'll need cross members but what else, i wanna put a turbo engine with lower Ks in it.

I'm putting a body kit on it (t-style kit) but i dunno what type of spoiler be nice on it i'm thinking of a big chunky one or a F1 style one

you will need to lenghthen the ecu's wiring harness if you are swaping in a 1jz-gte to a left hand drive supra,you'l need to get a jza-80 supra mk4's power steering line and thottle cable.get a complete half cut so you have all the parts you will need for the swap excapt what i mentioned above.you are right about the later cross member,you need one.you'll need a new tachometer,boost gauge and plenty of time and tools.a complete half cut should come with rear sub frame and differential too.good luck. 1jz power!

Swapping a 2JZ in an MKIII has been done. It isnt the most practical or easy of swaps. In my opinion go with the 1JZ the motor is just as strong and can be tuned to 350 WHP with the stock twin turbos. But to be a bolt in swap your MKIII will need to be 89-92 chaise or you will need the front subframe off of an 89-92 (the mounts are different). To pull off a JZ swap you will need to cut the hole in the frame where the shifter is of the MKVI 6 speed. You will also need to change out the power steering and getting the A/C to work will be interesting. The hood will also need to come you about a half inch to make room for the 2JZ.
