I own an 87 supra with a 1jz in it..........the timing belt looks old and has some cracks in it, so ya its time to replace that old thing. The engine has no mods whatsoever fyi. I don't know much about timing belts, i was looking at the greddy, and hks timing belts, but couldn't find much information let alone reviews of these belts. If getting these expensive belts has no advantage, then i guess i'd get an original toyota belt that i found at horsepowerfreaks for 32 dollars. How much does replacing a belt cost? I got an estimate of $350 usd.
