Import toyota supra

Hi everyone i'm new to this forum and had a question about an import right hand drive toyota supra. Ok so basically i was wondering how much work it would take and if it would even be posible to convert a right hand drive supra into a left hand drive supra. Just wondering cause i might buy one. The more detail you can give me on what i would have to do the better. I am good with cars and could do just about anything on one so that wouldnt be a problem. Thanks Ryan

why do people ask questions like this

i know this is an old post and all but i was just wondering why do people ask stuff like this. money can't be a factor when doing MOST extra conversions.

Hi Ryan, importing a non complainant car into America is hard, like really hard. You might be able to import it as a kit but otherwise it is like the link below. I would of Loved to have imported my 86.5 Japanese spec Supra.
The Supra is not even on the list, so think BIG like really BIG money to pay these people.

you know the guy hasn't been on the website since last year and this subject is just about forgot about right? I was just posting my frustration out here because people ask some dumb questions without thinking sometimes.

Yes, I agree with you. I just wanted to post for others to see. Japan does not have the same safety standards as the US. A major item is the braking system. In America the brake reservoir is divided into 2 chambers. A front half and a rear half, so if a brake line goes out there are still brakes. Japanese spec cars have a single reservoir. The glass is not to US standards as well. The list goes on and on.
Oh, on the other hand it is not too hard to bring an American standards car into Japan, go figure.
