Asking price for a turbo
 

Just bought a 1988 Turbo Targa. The guy threw in a spare turbo that came out of another car because he thought he would need to replace it.

I don't need it either, obviously. I'm looking to sell it but have no idea what to ask for it.

A little help?

what kind of turbo? what's the condition?

unknown miles and condition?? $100-$175.

I know absolutely nothing about the turbo. except that it exists in my garage.

pick it up.. inspect the blades (both sides) for any visual damage. try moving the blades up/down, left/right, back/forth etc. see if it moves alot. i dont know the minimal play, off the top of my head, so that its within factory specs. u could check the tsrm for that.
