Making a Targa Top

Is there a conversion kit out there that anyone knows of to make a regular roof into a targa top? I realize if you cut into the top you have to first reenforce it so nothing flexes once you cut Just didnt know if there was a "kit" or if I should just take to a body shop or something. I guess I could buy someones top and cut mine to fit welding in temp supports until I get it finished. Has anyone attempted this or seen it done?

Buy a targa car. Find a cheap shell and swap your equipment over. Do not attempt to cut your roof.

Ive decided to keep this one stock and not do anything crazy to it just keep it as it rolled off showroom floor, this will evently be wifes car as soon as I find a targa turbo 5speed like I want, this will be when I can support two supras, gotta be able to feed the babies. lol

i have driven both targa and non targa. i way prefer hardtop, less body flex in corners , and slightly less weight. just my opinion

Ive always like hard tops better since T tops are known to leak bad if not well taken care of
