Foglights
 

Does anyone know if the foglights can be used with the high beams after the foglight mod has been done? I know they can't normally, so I want to find out if it's a waste of time or not before I try. Thanks :D

with a lil altering, any electrical thing is possible. as for how to wire it I am unsure. But the purpose of fog lights is cause brights on in the fog will blind ya :P but if your just wanting to mess around and learn to do the wiring or w/e then yeah I'd say go for it and post what you find.

Well... I'll tell you why I'm asking. I want to use both so I don't have to sacrifice frontal lighting for being able to see the ditch better when I'm on the highway. The Foglights seem to do a better job of that than the brights do.

No, actually the mod makes the foglights operate without having the headlights on. The link is here if you don't know what I'm talking about: http://www.supras.com/06/techcenter/display.php?QID=41 This mod does not specify whether the foglights can be used with the brights or not. I would try it, but I really don't care about having my foglights working without my headlights and want to save myself a few hours.

So upon further investigation, it turns out that there is a high probability that the fog lights become completely independent from the lighting system upon applying the fog light rewire. I haven't done it yet, but I shall be trying it soon. Thanks for your suggestions everyone. :)
