newbie here 1mm -2mm head gasket

hello fellow supra enthusiasts, i have had a 88 7mgte for 6 years now and finally got the time and money to go big, just one question right now though as i am currently in iraq. cant wait to get home and start on my ride. If i have 680cc injectors with walboro fp, lexus afm, aem ems, twin pow ign, t4 turbo 48mm wastegate, ssq bov, what would be the best and thickness of headgaskets? i dont want low end drag or non responsive acceleration? oh there is no overbore in the cylinders.

Guessing that you're planning on a metal head gasket, it depends on how much if any metal needs taking off the head and/or block when you have it decked for the mhg. IIRC, a 1.2mm is about right for most jobs but only your machinist will be able to tell you sure. He'll know how much metal was lost.

from what i've read.. you probably want to keep the compression ratio as close to stock as possible. so like mirage said. you would want to figure out how much your machine shop is going to take off the head before u buy the hg
