![]() When someone blows a head gasket, they just replace it. When the 7m-gte's were mass produced the head gasket wasn't torqued enough. When they put a new head gasket in they torque it right up, almost making it impossible to blow the head gasket. Personally i'd take a supra over a 300zx anyday, way nicer IMO.

the stock hg was torqued at 55lbs or so from factory and some just retorque the stock head bolts but most use arp studs n bolts and retorque at 75lbs. other than that its a solid motor. the 2jz takes some modification to get it in a mk3 the other option is a 1jz that drops in if you have the right motor mounts (89-92)
