Well I'm sure it's not the distributor, rotor, nor spark plugs and wires. Because if it was it'd at least start and just run rough.

Does your car bog when you try and start it? If it does then it's timing.
Other wise I would test the coil and ignitor. Could also be fuses so make sure to check them as they are missed a lot.

Next you might want to check for fuel. Make sure your fuel pump is working. Also make sure your injectors are firing.

Hope that helps

After rereading your post I have one question. Do you have after market injectors or fuel pump? Could be flooding with fuel causing it to not start.

Could also be coolent running into your combustion chamber. I've had this happen once to my brothers nissan 240. He blew his head gasket but not bad there was no evidence of it. Just that every time we pulled the plug on the fuel pump fuse it would start but run really rough. So I pulled out the spark plug and sure enough coolent water jumped up almost 2 feet into the air when we tried to crank it.

if your car is non turbo pull the distributer cap and look at it inside there if its all corroded then replace the cap. the way u make it sound that 2 of he coils are not working u have a turbo car and its either the ignition module or the coils themselves. i dont know of any way to test them so ull either have to replace them with new or maybe find the parts at the junk yard.
