Default "Induction Manifold"?

I have an '89 Supra Turbo. The oil pressure was a little low (at about the 20 at driving speeds), so I took it to a local repair guy to get it checked out. He kept it over the weekend then gave me a seemingly ridiculously high estimate and said it needed a new "induction manifold" and "inlet boot" amongst other things before he could even do an engine performance analysis.

I tried doing some searching and I can't seem to find such a thing as an "induction manifold" or "inlet boot" for a MKIII Supra.

Anybody have any idea what he could be talking about?

Thanks in advance.

If you know someone who knows these cars well, and is in the area, take him with you to go talk to the guy and see what else he says

Otherwise, tell him there is no such thing as (those two items), he has no idea what he's talking about, and take it elsewhere.

Read up on how much oil you should put into the 7M over on SM/SF (or here, if the thread is here)...7.5 quarts won't hurt a thing. In addition, the stock gauge isn't exactly accurate.
