Angry I could use some help

I bought a 87 supra ma70 has a 7mgte but no boost gage just a volt meter does this mean this car did not come with the turbo. I also rebuilt the motor, pistons, rings, rods, all new gaskets, head bolts, bearings, new intercooler kit, new radiator, new timeing belt, cam gears, water pump ect.
Now I removed the cam sensor and now can't seem to get the timeing right valve timeing at 0 tdc and my timeing needs to be at 10 btdc with the E and T1 shorted out the car will run but very high idel and I can get to 10 btdc however can not put bolt in due to the slot not over hole I have pulled out cam sensor out to rotate but can not get bolt to line up with the slot is there a way to line up cam sensor like a distrubeter you line it up with #1 spark plug. Also is this car supose to have an EGR my motor as a plate over where one would go. and there is no charcoal can. Maybe im missing things I dont know about. both vac lines are pluged on intake. would a pic? can any one help?

Someone probably put a turbo motor in it or put a turbo on it and the timing cover. If it has a distributor it is a non turbo motor, the turbo came with a coil pack type ignition. There is 3 coil packs on the top of the engine that controls 2 plugs each, I think it is the waste spark type. Do a search on the internet for the 7mgte engine and look at some pictures see if it looks like yours. They are both the same motor though just the turbo came with a different spark type and lower compression I believe, I could be wrong though.
