Has anyone seen or heard of anyone putting stock twin turbo for a 1JZ or 2JZ ontn a 7MGTE motor. I have been thinking about doing this swap for a long time and already have some 2JZ twin turbos. Any info on installs and vacum line for two way turbos on a 7MGTE would be great.

one thing to keep in mind is that the ct12b's run a sequential setup for the turbos. they only run a single wastegate from what i've heard, and a strange bypass system for the other. converting onto the 7m, you'll need custom manifolds or adapter plates, either find a second wastegate, or go to externals. you'll also need to sort out a second oil feed and return, new water pipes, and all the intake and exhaust plumbing as well.

I know all about how the the 2JZ twins work and buy the the way they anre CT25s not Ct12s. Oil and coolant lines and also a custom manifold is no problem I work at a very experenced tuning shop. What I am looking for is vacum set up for the 2JZ twins. They have a semi complex vacum set up. Will I need any VSV valves for the MKIV to make it work?

do you want to keep the sequential side of it? if not, just run it as a twin turbo setup the same as a 1jz system. the sequential setup is ecu controlled, it's not just an on off switch, so it's hard to get it working without the ecu to run it.

I want to keep the two way set up. Like I said before I know a little bit about the 2JZ and the stock turbo set up and I dont think the turbos are controlled by the ECU, I believe they are vacum contrlled. More info will help me out alot. Has any one done this and made it work?
