Thanks Bill. As you say, it's probably stuck to the rubber mounts. Because the radiator is more fragile looking than most I've associated with before, I was afraid to give it too much heave-ho without checking someone who knows. I'll feel a lot better when it's out of harm's way.
Thanks also for the links . . . I really found the UK site's Guides excellent and particularly helpful for the timing belt sequence. Those M8x1.25 threaded holes in my crank pulley were really clogged and rusted up, but now that the threads are chased, I'll thread in the new bolts tomorrow and make the hole spacing measurements we were talking about. Couldn't cut out the plate to begin a "crank holder" because I ran out of acetylene. What next? Good thing I have a truck to drive. The Supra will be late coming out of garage hibernation this year. |
