removing egr valve
I can't get to removing the old heater hose because the EGR valve is in the way. Problem is, I'm having a hard time removing the two studs that hold the EGR valve! How do you guys do it? There's not enough room for a wrench or a socket. It seems like a shortened 12mm wrench will get the bottom one out, but the top is still a problem, especially because you have to feel where they are since you can't see them. Besides I don't want to cut my wrenches.
Too bad I didn't see how my mechanic did it when he serviced my EGR. |
The EGR Valve is a Bitch to get on and off. Took me soo long to get it. I think i ended up getting it on and off from under the car, especially that lower bolt.
