Has Anyone used EBAY headgasket kit?

Part of the reason you're not getting any help is because you asked if we've used those particular gaskets. I know I'm not going to take the time to reply just to say "no, I haven't". From what I can tell, it seems that most of the people on this forum run an OEM gasket or prep the head and block and go with a name brand metal head gasket.

The downside to eBay gasket kits is that, as you know, you can't tell if they're quality or not. The pictures suck, the descriptions suck, and the seller just doesn't usually put any effort into the listing. What does this tell me? The item probably sucks. IMO, you're better off buying your gaskets from the dealer (recommended) or an auto parts store; somewhere you can inspect the gasket and it's material.

thanks...thats all someone had to tell me...i guess ill go for a felpro head gasket set for $190....instead of oem TOYOTA Dealer Headgasket Set for $380
