87 supra wont start on its own
I did a NA-T swap(7mgte) in my 87 and finally got it to run today, but it needed carburetor cleaner sprayed into the intake tell it could run on its own.
the timing is correct, the fuses are good, theres good fuel pressure, everything is connected correctly. and as far as i know there are no codes being thrown. i think its the cold start injector, will a 7mge injector work? |
No, but thats also not going to stop it from starting. Something is not letting the injectors open obviously if you have good fuel pressure and everythign else is good. Use a noid light to check if you are getting power to the injectors
|
did you install and connect the cam sensor?
doesnt the ignition run off the crank sensor where th fuel injectors run off the cam sensor? pretty sure... but not positive.. just something else to check |
Thats kind of typical in a modern car but the supra runs the ignition off the cam as well
