Im new to my 89 Supra non-turbo, and theres this cocky guy with a 91 CRX (B16 V-Tec, pulleys, performance ecu, cams, intake, headers, and its striped down to the bone, to the chassis), I didn't know what it had before racing him but I did know that there was a serious weight difference between both of us. So we whent on and raced and he took me by about 2 to 2 1/2 cars. Ofcourse I was mad, not at the fact that I lost money, but at the fact that he beat my baby  , but thats a good thing b-cuz it just makes me want to unleash the monster within it even more. For a starter, was I doing good by launching at 3000 RPM's and shifting at 6000RPM's? Oh, and I also have my turbo, but I need to gather the rest of the parts to complete my baby. I need a turbo intake manifold, coil pack, engine wiring harness, air flow meter, accordian hose, oil cooler, and my intercooler piping, please help me out :( so I can go back and get revenge on that stinky CRX. Thank You.

ah, the lovely crx. it must have had an engine swap, since they didnt come out with vtec. for 2-3 car lengths, it sounds kinda slow. anyway, if you want revenge quicker, spray nitrous. its quick and cheaper for the short term over the turbo assembly.

^ um no

the engine isn't prepped for it

do the turbo conversion and you'll whoop his ass ;)

the 7mge cant handle a 75 shot of nos??

add the turbo and whip him over and over....and not have to hook up a bottle B)

I dunno about RPM, I know 3k is about where my turbo spools up and I shift when it stops pulling hard, which is usually around 6k. On a N/A car I'm not sure about where the power band is...

You could also try some weight reduction, take out the back seats, spare tire, ect and see if it helps...
