finding these 2JZ-GTE motors and tranny's pretty cheap but i thought i go fast for my buck is it possible to swap this motor to the MKIII?

why is that thats what im asking i reall dont see why it would be a problem i mean my dad puts 454's in fieros lol so whats the problem stopping it?

there is too much that you have to convert, it wont fit, you have to custom make motor mounts, basically nothing on the car will work with the 2j

well i have a lathe (metal shaping machine basically) i should be able to make pretty sturdy motor mounts then right???
so if i cant put this 320 HP motor in what could i put in it so i can go fast lol

If you just want to go fast, and your father is experienced with Chevy engines, then talk to him about a 350 SB or LS2 or something. That is the easiest way to go fast in almost anything.

Not to insult you, but if you feel like doing the proper research and actually learn what would be needed for a 2JZ swap then you can do it. As said before, there is a lot of things that need to be changed to put a 2JZ in a MA70 Supra.

Well thanks man appreciate it... but as fun and as fast as that sounds i wanna keep at burning rice im so/so expierienced with a supra i will read more up on it is there a website to let me know what im in for??? and thanx again

wow... if those of you that are saying 2JZ swaps aren't possible really think that, you obviously haven't done your hw. People swap 2Js alot. Search supramania and supraforums. 2JZ NA-T using 7M-GTE electronics is another common swap.

Search is your friend, use it.

yea thanks for backing me up on this not trying to insult anybody but i thought it would be easier then what people have been telling me i just need to know where to look to start doing my homework hoping to have it done by spring or summer ... thanks
