cough.. cough... ahem, i am 17 also. 18 in two months. i bought the car for myself on my 17th b-day. best present ever. haha. im dealing with the bhg right now. i am getting the head machined and pressure checked as i type this. as for shops in bc, ask around and see if anyone has ever worked on one. when i brought the head into the shop i said nothing and they guy took one look and said... supra right? so i knew i could trust him.

Yeah, mine got appraised for 6k, but if I had been a member here earlier, I would have bought Mr. Nickle eye's or the 1985 one that is in immaculate shape. However.. having said all that, you got a great car, something actually worthwhile putting money into for upkeep unlike a Ford Taurus or something silly : )

I also know that when I was 17, I drove a 72 Corolla.. and I drove it hard. If I had a Supra at that point in my life... not sure I would have survived... (my brain was very tiny back then) You got a great car, keep treating it how you plan and you should be very happy.

He wanted that much because the rims are "brand new" and because its in such great condition for a stock supra, there's actually not a piece of rust on the car even the wheel wells. I did lol, and I got plenty of looks. Thrown a lot of leg because of this car.... Keep the oil changed, and the coolant levels right. Learned the hard way....
