How do i convert my 86 1/2-88 taillights to 89-92 tailights?

Well I don't know of any writeup, all though I'm sure there is one out there I have been told its basically a direct bolt on app. The only thing is some of the center holes in the center section of the car have to bee reamed out a little to accept the new studs for the exterior mid section.

To get it done you are going to have to remove all the rear interior, starting with the rear seats then the lower side panels, then the rear quarters, then the rear inner center piece, after all that you can get to all the stuff for the tail mounts. The TSRM has all the info on removing these panels.
