Rod Bearing went out...

Well a rod bearing went out on my car. Or so I think. I just want to know how hard it is to lift the engine and second, how hard is it to actually change them.

I just rebuilt the top end of the engine and I get this BS. Is it even worth it to fix the problem or sell the car "as-is". Damn poopra. I honestly don't even want to put another $100 into the car until it goes at least 1k miles.

Hello omega,

Beautiful spot you're in sir.
Don't get me wrong it sucks.

This is the only time I would tell someone this.
Buy a jdm for as cheap as you can.

RE-build the engine you have. Matching # cars are tough to beat and bring a premium. Much more so than an as/is car if ya follow.

Fix it on the cheap and drive it till the wheels fall off, or don't.

It's going to be hard to sell as is.

If you thrashed your block at all...., JDM. Salvage all of the original that you can.

But you need a spare parts engine for sure. Or atleast to my thought process. I am sure you have many options. The engine isn't bad to take out so long as you have the required tools.
