well your sports package question was answered

with regards to your spun bearing

depending on the $$ and how bad it's knocking

you could in the meantime do a quick grind on the crank and get the applicable bearings (your reconditioner will tell you what you need) throw them in, torque em down and keep on using it

i would suggest you buy a turbo motor and drop all your pennies into that... rebuild it, metal head gasket, arps, bearings, rings, seals, new just about everything
get the ecu, harness etc for the turbo swap

then when you've got it all done... chuck in ur new motor and enjoy boost ;)

I think that a turbo engine would be cool, i was thinking of the 1jz but parts are hard to get, like if i need spark plugs for the damn thing i dont if 2jz plugs fit, but you know little maintence stuff wouldnt be available here in the U.S. The 7MGE would be cool but I dont want turbo lag on the bottom end power. I think A built 7MGE w/ nitrous would be pretty kick ass. I paid $300 for this car w/ a spun bearing . A good deal I would say. So I already have the 7MGE in it so I think im gonna keep it N/A. The engine knocks bad. the wierd thing that it only has 147,000 miles on it. so the people who owned it before me just ran the thing w/ no oil im assuming. Its sad someone could do that to a supra, i could see with a honda but not with a supra.

Hey...........It all comes down to $$$$$.......and how long you want the car to sit around while you come up with it. Rebuilding what you have is always cheaper. Fix it and drive it !!! While you do that, you'll learn alot about supras. Then, later on, start looking for a turbo DEAL. Where I live, people don't understand that a turbo is a desired car. There's a really nice one I checked out on a local lot for $5k. But. I've got my n/a all done now, and I spend my spare time driving it. "Oh what a feeling" ! (did I just say that??)

theres definately nothing like just cruising around going nowhere in your supra, its a beautiful thing, its better then sex

yeah m gonna just rebuild what i got and probably upgrade to a 1jzgte in the future. A built N/A will definatly kick some ass. My car has the LSD, so itll be fun layin down some posi marks

Definately, should be a real sweet car when your done.

Jeez!

200 bucks for the whole car? Living in the states truly rocks.

I paid more than that for new Eibach springs I ordered, funny.
