Hi

Well before i get down to business i thought i would introduce myself. My name is Phil, im 20 years old, im located in Cali, and im getting ready to leave for navy bootcamp. My last car was a 4th generation prelude which was alot of fun while i had it.
Now obviously since im leaving for bootcamp i dont need a car at the moment but im looking at the MKIII Supra as a platform to build my next car after all my training. Since il have alot of time to decide i thought that i might as well start making plans. ( If your wondering i was inspired to build my own car after driving my uncles 350z tt )

So if you could build your own MKIII Supra where you did everything (interior, exterior, suspension, drivetrain, and engine) what would you do? Some engine ideas that ive been rolling around would be a 1jze tt or and 2jze tt swap. Maybe the latter for 6spd? In reality it might not even been a Supra when im done except for the base engine and body.

Money is not a big concern im already thinking 10,000+ dollars but When im gonna redo everything i dont have to spend much on the car. The only stipulations i have is that the car is street legal and that its pushing 450-500 rwp. Any thoughts, questions, or suggestions?

Oh and what years within this generation would you suggest?

Hello Nancy.

You do realize that n.a.v.y.
stands for, no anal virgins yet...., right?
I'm kidding. Kind of.

10k is a good balance to start with.
15k is more like it, if you start with a newer one like a 90/91/92.
I'll have 15 in mine with just a 7mge bhg rebuild.
Well, I say that but there isn't a used part on her under the hood.

check out: Performance Parts Aftermarket and Racing
for your toyota parts needs.
If they don't have it. Look at the dealer.

And before you think I was being $hitty to you.
I'm retired usmc. Wich is dept. of navy.
Welcome and good luck.
