Default Help! confused

I was driving the supra and i noticed white smoke coming out of the hood once i was parked. I've also noticed that the oil pressure stays low when I'm driving and that it is leaking a little oil once parked. And cloud of white smoke when I start the car. The supra is 1990 turbo and it has about 130xxx miles, just got the car a month ago and the former owner didn't know if the car had the head gasket replaced. I'm thinking that might be it but I'm not sure. Any help is appreciated thanks.

Check the oil. If it looks like chocolate milk, you probably have a blown head gasket.

Ok, and if it isn't what would it be?
(being optimistic)

White smoke, to my knowledge, typically indicates oil is getting into the cylinders, burned off and exhausted.. air + gas only does not typically smoke, and if it does, it's black and ugly cause of other issues...

If the oil looks good on the stick, and in the pan... might want to check your spark plugs and make sure they're not caked with crap... can't remember the rammifications of this, but it's the second biggest issue I've seen on these forums next to the BHG when talking about not running and/or smoking... perhaps my meer mention of this will spark someone to elaborate more, eductating us both...

Good Luck..

If anything, check your valve covers and around the turbo. I hear the valve covers sometimes have problems on the 7ms. Clean up your engine as well, and then check to see where the oil is originating from. That should help you pin point the leak.

Possible 2jz lower block swap in the works if I can't rebuild the 1j. So troublesome.

Yes, check around the valve cover, because if it is leaking there then it could be leaking onto the manifold and burning causing smoke.

White smoke indicates water being burned. Blue smoke is for oil. Black smoke is excess gasoline.
