I'm trying to calibrate my tps, what settings does the multimeter need to be on? i have 200, 200, 20k, 200k, 200m for the Ohm setting

I think i got it....

opened throttle vta-e2 4.80

VC-E2 i got 6.85

those both w/in the paramaters they need to be but....

When i do idl-e2 at .5mm space i get .03 and at .9 space i get .05


Does this mean the TPS is busted? tried calibrating it a few times, same result

.03 or .05 ohms is good when the throttle is closed, or less than .04mm,
make sure it goes to infinity when throttle is open.

ahh ok, cool thanks, it goes to infinate before its fully opened but it is infinate resistance when its opened up all the way

Was worried i needed a new tps. i just hope under the vibrations of the engine it stays calibrated. I have only one screw holding it in place, the other one wasnt there when i took it off and the plastic around it was broken off ;(
