Lost and Confused
 

Have not been on for awhile mainly because car was stationary and couldnt work at it at that time...

Had a leak running down into drivers side floor board after flushing my heater core....

So i replaced the heater core, checked old one it was leaking, however i still do not have heat in my car and still have leaking into my floor board >.<

Hose runing to heater core vsv is warm but hose coming out of the bottom of it is cooler.

on another note found out whoever sold me the car removed my check engine light, that was nice of them, Throwing code 51 and 52... 52 knock sensor not really sure what means but i cannot find out what code 51 is ;(

• No "IDL" signal, "NSW" signal or "A/C" signal to ECU, during diagnosis check.

Trouble Area

• A/C switch circuit
• A/C switch
• A/C amplifier
• Throttle position sensor circuit
• Throttle position sensor
• ECU

I think i am throwing this code becuase my temperature sensor for my AC that is on thermostat housing is the wrong part, so i leave it unplugd, if i plug it in i get no A/C so going to fix this today and reconnect the wire.

I wonder if this has anything to do with my heater core vsv not allowing coolant to flow through my heater core.... some one help ;)

Well i replaced the temperature sensor on the thermostat housing for the AC and still throw a 51 and 52, read up on how to fix the knock sensor so ill do tht prolly next week, any ideas on the other code though or the leaking into my floorboard?

If the A/C was switched on or you pressed on the gas pedal it would set off the code 51. Otherwise, get yourself a feeler gauge and calibrate the throttle position sensor as per the TSRM.

And your heater core is probably shot. It's not the easiest thing to replace so I would make sure that's exactly what it is before going to replace it.

yea, just replaced the heater core, still have leaking and still no heat ;)

however the old core did have a leak in it so wasnt a complete waste of time, i need to know where else to look

Ill look into calibrating the throttle posistion sensor

I wonder if the TPS has anything to do with the loss of power i am experiencing, well once i get it calibrated and fix the wiring on the knock sensor i hope its fixed finally ;)

ok is it clutch fluid leakin down onto floor cause i had my master cyl go out on clucth pedle and had to have that replaced nasty leak all over driver side floorboard and i had the same problem where i couldnt get heat, changed out everything i could think of so i talked with my budy and he found this one thing pined open i forget what it is ill find out and get back to ya tho
