Car won't start

So was flushing my heater core, sprayed water a few times all over everything, not much..... but now my car won't start

it tried to once, backfire'd n a whole lota white smoke came out the exhaust....

that means water in the gas right? how do i fix this???

nO. iT MEANS YOU GOT WATER DOWN IN THE SPARKPLUG HOLES AND NOW THE JUICE GROUNDS OUT INSTEAD OF FIRING THE PLUGS.

or.YOU GOT SOME CONNECTOR WET, AND NOW YOUR SYSTEM DOES NOT WANT TO ALLOW SPARK.

so i just have to clean out the sparkplug holes?

so with the plugs in there, there is no chance of water getting down into the engine? its sealed? just need to dry everything off?

Thanks alot ;) you always save the day
i have no technical experience other than my car... didnt even kno how to change the oil 6 months ago.... now ive installed new turbo and done alot other work too it... im getting there but still make silly mistakes ;)

Another thing tho. this morning there was water in driver side in floor board. so this means heater core leaking? i thought that was on passanger side... or did the pressure from flsuhing the system loosen some line on driver side? thanks

If you don't have an air compressor you can use a couple of cans of
compressed air and maybe....., get it running.

Never spray the engine bay without atleast having the car running at minimum.

This is a textbook case as to why.

You also never want to suck water into the air intake.

It will dry out if you leave it sit long enough and work fine.

I can't help with the other.

If you're an n/a you should also check the dist cap for moisture.

thanks all. back to running perfectly
