VTV, whats it hook up too???

Part 23281, VTV

I have a vacuum line going to this part but its missing the Filter that goes on the end of it... is this part saposed to plug into ne thing or just that filter?

Thats the dashpot vsv, the filter keeps dirt from getting inside and contaminating the diaphram. Just the filter goes on the end of it.
