Fuel Pump went out?

So I was driving to the store and my 87 supra turbo dies when I push the clutch in, so I restart it and park, get out start it up and head home. I hit the first stop light and the car dies again only this time it wont start back up. I pushed it off the road and saw that my afpr gauge is only showing like 5 psi. Normally like 35 to 40. I checked for leaks and nothing. I had checked it that morning and it was reading 40. So I figure it has to be my fuel pump (a Walboro that is about 2 and 1/2 years old) or my fuel sending unit, or my ecu is messed up somehow (have been hitting fuel cut here and there due to a wastegate problem). So what do you guys think? HELP PLEASE!!!
Thanks

Fuel Pump went out?

i got a n/a and i'm still dealing with the same problem try bridging the teminals B+ and FP and check your pressure if its normal then you need to check your relays i know i have to change my fuel pump relay and efi main relay. and on top of that if could be as easy as a clogged fuel filter. i got all of those parts at auto zone the efi main relay and the fuel filter were 20 eacha dn the fuel pump relay was like 60 or 70. so choose your posion. if you bridge the terminals and you still don't have pressure then its you're fuel filter. if it's one of your relays there are places that can check them for you. good luck hopefully your fix is cheaper than mine.

Open you gas cap and listen to hear if there is a whining sound. If there is a wining sound the pump is running. This is how I usually try to identify a fuel pump problem. If it is wining it could be your fuel filter is clogged, the screen to the fuel pump could also be clogged. Did you replace the screen filter with the new pump?

I have an N/A as well and am doing these tests as well. Luckily I have a running supra in my driveway to swap parts off of and try. Learning more every day here. Thanks All!
