Is it cheaper

ok, I Have an 86.5 n/a. i want to do a 1JZ swap and was wondering if it would be cheaper to buy an engine and transmission which is $1800 with like $450 shipping or a front clip which is around $2800.

jus buy the front clip, that way you know for sure, that you have everything that youre gonna need when doing the swap

I have already done my swap and I will recomend it to anyone to get a clip not just the motor and tranny. There is going to be a lot of things you will need from the clip that you wont get from just the motor and tranny. Like all of the plugs under the dash for example. They have to swaped no matter what most people think they dont have to but you can get plug and play adapters from driftmotion but it is easier and cheaper to swap the plug.
