Sup peeps, I am turning 16 soon and getting my L's it's gonna be phat! I am Looking at a 1989-1992 Supra 2.5i OR 3.0i Manual 5spd Turbo Or Twin Turbo, I am looking at spending at the max of $7,500 on one, do you think I can get a good one with Kilometres of up to 200,000 but no more, because I don't wanna have to do a replacement of everything, and my most concern would be the Head Gasket, So if all you owners or fans could give me some info, that would be great, I really love then and when I get it I am gonna be cheering, Christian, South Australia.

I wish I could help you with prices in Australia, but over here in the US you can't get a "Twin Turbo" (Mkiv) 6spd in even half-decent condition for less than about $18K USD.

He wants a mk3...he said 89-92. The 1jz was sold in autralia i think, And thats the TT hed be referring to. As for opinions on the car....I think they are great. Of course on a supra forum thats what everyone is gona think though lol. I can tell you, make sure the HG isnt leaking, Check for rust, mostly under the spare tire and on the bottom of the doors, Targa seams if it has one, stuff like that. Make sure the power steering doesnt leak, as that is a pain to fix. Make sure the coolant isnt leaking, Thats a notorious problem with these cars. But overall there fast, they handle great, there very stable at speed, And there fun to throw around. I have an N/A 3 liter and it itll get sideways all over on dry road, And there easy to play around with. Ive never lost control of mine, even in the snow. The only thing i can mention really needs upgrading, is the brakes. There not the best.
