Just bought a1986 last of the celica supra's . THIS IS MY 2ND THE FIRST WAS A 1983 . ANYWAY I LIVE IN FL AND GOT A STEAL ON THIS TEXAS CAR . NO RUST LOOKS GREAT . HOWEVER SMELLS LIKE IT IS RUNNING RICH AND HAS 157,000ON ORIGINAL ENGINE. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT A JAPAN USED REPLACEMENT. ALSO LOOKING FOR IDEAS ON GOIING FAST. IS IT POLLIBLE TO HAVE THIS CAR OUT RUN MUSTANGS OLD VETTES AND CHUMP 944,S. IT'S JUST A THOUGHT. I HAVE A MECHANICAL BACKGROUND ON SMALL GAS AND LP FORKLIFT ENGINES . SO MY THOUGHTS ARE TO BY A LOW MILE JAP ENGINE AND ADD SOME BOLT ON PERFORMANCE AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

well...iono bout american car...but if i were you i just stick with the d.tic car tho...n built it up....wanna go fast... its best to swap the egine....if you an expt.....mach.nic than...go for the 1jz but if not than its best to go with the 7mgte....hope that give you an idea....let me know if you came out with any diff. idea of if it....or you plan to go with a diff. setup....n get to work...let me know alright...thanx...
