fender flares on an "L" Type
 

How well do fender flares fit on an "L" Type b/c i think the P type and L type had the fenders moulded differently right?

Right they are different..You would have to cut the lip and all off of the donor car and your car and weld them back in..Not worth it IMO.

and from my experience from welding cracks in the back hatch deck, its very easy to just melt away the spot you're welding rather than getting the metal to stcik to itself since its such thin metal. Though without the fender flares, body kits wont fit right?, the only one ive found that i would actually be able to get my hands on is the kaminari F1 which requires fender flares.
