Is there a turbo kit for a 85?
 

Hi, I tried doing a sticky search to find one but came up with little to nothing. I was wandering if anyone on here knws where I can purchase one?

well... there is a turbo kit for the mk2. that one monkey champ.com page have a complete setup tho. but its too much tho... and beside that the mk3 turbo n manifold n down pipe it also fit on the mk2 supra to. do a cheaper way pull out a turbo kit from the mk3 n put it on the mk2. that will do it.... unlease you want to put more money on the mk2 then go ahead n get yourself a good turbo setup from that one monkey champ.com page.... hope this answer your question.... oh by the way... you can get it cheaper price from ebay to.... good look... let me know when you got your done alright.

What you mean the turbo kit form the MK3 will work? What is transferable?

will... what i mean is that... whats on the 7mgte from a year of 85.5-91 supra with a singo turbo... you can use all their turbo kit to put on your mk2 supra. its the same setup... it will fit... you dont need to do any custom work on the turbo kit... well maybe... a little... maybe you need to cut your left frame to make the turbo pipe go to the intercooler...well if you want pix of my setup... email me at yh64@hotmail.com n i more then happy to share you my setup...

Ok well I woudl like to know what parts exactly work. Also how long have you had your kit on and are you having engine management problems?

i have my turbo kit for like a year already.... so long no problem with my car.... need to repair some body work thats all... cause drift. to much n my front kit is crap up... n need to fix the two lower side kit thats all...

i not from japan... i from 209 area up in California.... hehe.... just that me more into mk2... n beside that my brother he is a srgt. now base in Tokyo Japan. in the Marine corp... so some part if i cant find up in USA here i can ask him to look for me.... n free shipping... but that take longer time for me to get the part that i were need.
