coolant in the oil!
 

So I built a 5mgte using a 7mgte block with 5m internals and head. 7mgte exhaust system and turbo. mls head gasket with arp head studs. 5mge felpro gasket set.

So my problem is now that I have the engine together and in the car I am getting a massive amount of coolant in the oil pan. I filled the radiator with 3 gallons of water and started thinking that was too much after the 5th gallon of water. I hooked up a coolant system pressure tester and could not build any pressure, then I noticed water dripping from the dipstick tube....
So far I have drained the oil pan of all the water and brand new oil.
My first thought is cracked block, or timing cover gasket.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated, this is a real head scratcher.

A cracked block, head or timing cover, bad HG OR something preventing the head from sitting uniformly on the block (see: poorly placed, evil brass rivets used in many early MLS HGs for the 7M).... Any way about it I can't think of anything that would make me hesitate at tearing the block apart.

Thanks for the reply. I have the car at work and have been slowly taking the engine back apart after work and at lunch. I removed the head yesterday finally and tried pouring water in to the water jacket with the water pump installed and the oil drain bolt out to see where the water was getting in to the pan from. I found the water to be running to the front of the motor and out behind the timing cover into the pan. I am glad I don't have a cracked block. I've spend too much at the machine shop to have a junk block.
Question for you guys. Once I remove the timing cover I am hoping to find a threaded hole I can plug or a freeze plug hole, but if not do I need to go hunting for a 6m-ge timing cover?

I just got the timing cover off and found a hole in the block where a freeze plug should be. I guess when I was assembling the engine I thought that was where the water pump passage would go.
