Location of horn relay
 
Hi
I have a 1985 P type Supra and the horn has quit. The horns and relay are fine as the theft deturant system sounds them ok
I have taken the wheel off and the contact is fine to the ring on the wheel. Ohmmeter shows continuity when the button is pushed. Somehow a wire has broken between the relay coil and the steering wheel. I can't find an 85 manual. Does anyone know where the horn relay is mounted on the 85?

im not sure if there is such a thing... did you check the fuse box by the drivers feet or in the engine bay??

The functionality of the theft deterrant system's horn doesn't mean anything. I have yet to see a Toyota, factory alarm which didn't have a seperate horn for the alarm system. Looking at the wiring diagrams neither the alarm horn nor the two hazard horns have a relay.
