Performance Options?
 

I just recently bought an 84 MKII. It's already got a custom exhaust (2 1/2" - 4" can). I looking to improve the intake side of things. I heard you could change the airflow sensor with one from a newer Lexus but that's only a rumor. What can I do to this car that won't break the bank?

If there's no way to interchange the MAFS, then is there an easy way to bypass it?

nope.. no easy way....

the lexus upgrade is for the 7mgte engine only i believe... not the mk2's

the stock afm is not a problem for a while anyhow

just upgrade the filter and maybe a set of headers later on :)

Thanks for the help. I just recently found out that it's not really worth it to interchance the stock AFS with one from a newer lexus unless you're got a turbo. But i do plan on bolting on a high-flow manifold or a set of headers.
