82' Supra help!
 

Wanting to buy a nice 82' supra-celica.

130k original miles.

my only problem is that the whole car has no rust, apart from some on the back hatch...very little bubbling. Is there some "special" or recommended stuff to apply so it doesn't spread...and some to prevent any from happening at all *mainly under the wheel wells*.. I'll prolly use it for a winter car as well as summer, and are winters here are pretty extreme...

I took it for a test drive, and one thing bothered me...anytime I stopped at a light or stop-sign, engaged first, it would have a clunk...anything to be concerned about?

not sure what else to look/ask for, might just bring it to a mechanic and see what he says.

I've noticed as well, that it wasn't a fast car at all. very slow starts, and acceleration was almost pathetic. Knowing that it is 28 years old, I'm not worried, nor do I want to race/track it at all...but is this normal? Its a P-type btw. :)

p.s. - the guy is asking 3,000 for it...too much? its very minty, and has a new clutch/water pump among other little things.
