New Guy with 83 issues
 

Ok..so its really not mine but my brothers .......83....cranks just fine but wont turn-over...i had to jump this car a while ago and the staring issue never returned.........by the way.......the car WAS running when all of a sudden it just stalled and would not restart.....thanks in advance

Sounds like the alternator is going bad..If not try the charge fuse in the box..

thanks......thought it might be efi fuse or fuel pum...where are the pumps located on these cars?

most 82 and 83's have an external pump..It is sitting between the tank and the diff usually.. Then some time in late 83 or 84 they started putting them in the tank.. the filters do clog pretty regularly..It is just below the intake on the side of the block..It is a big sucker and cant be missed..
