i did a 1jzte swap earlier this year. (when i say I, I mean my mechanic lol. I didnt have the tools and the Know how to swap an engine out) There are some things you have to factor in like where your getting the engine from, the lost of some extra features(I didnt convert the a/c system over so i dont have a/c in my car). Plus there is ALOT of electric and cooling to make sure its done right. The alternator for example needs to be replaced with the Lexus SC (i think the SC300) since its harder to get the original Japanese parts sometimes. But all in all its a good engine and still can meet the needs of whatever u want to do.

too lazy to find a funny quote, buuuutttt off the top of my head. "life always= how well you treat your car, put crap in ur car, then car breaks down, then miss important meeting, or work which just so happen u cant miss another day or ur fired... and end up with a crappy life.
