Default FOR SALE: 88 Targa 5 Spd N/A $2300 OBO- Lower Price 09/4/11

NAME: ******** ******
LOCATION: Winchester, CA
PRICE: $2300 OBO
CONTACT INFORMATION: Private Message, email via *******@gmail.com, or TEXT at ***-***-****
DESCRIPTION:

About the car:
7MGE engine
Just under 145,000 miles at time of creating this add
5 Speed manual transmission (W58)
Factory limited slip differential (G285)
Targa Top
Registered in Montana, tags good through Jan 2012. I bought this car here in Moreno Valley right before I moved down here, so it hasn't actually been to Montana

The Good:
Runs great, engine pulls strong
Shifts perfectly
Performance clutch/pressure plate
Recently replaced struts
Matching BF Goodrich tires with good tread left
Performance brakes (fronts installed, rears included with sale)
Silicone Vacuum lines
NGK Spark Plugs and wires
Front strut tower brace
Clear Sidemarker Lights/Turn Signals

The Bad:
Car is 23 years old, some suspension bushings should be replaced. I believe this to be the cause of a "clunking" sound from the LF suspension when going over bumpy road
Performance clutch means you have to rev the engine up to around 2200 rpm when coming off a dead stop, otherwise the car will shudder from the sudden load
Front brakes did not have anti-squeal shims, so they will squeal when braking. Can be remedied with the brake lubricant sold at parts stores
Rear windows have poor window tint that is bubbled over. Have not removed it, as this will likely also peel up the rear defroster strip
Paint overall is good, but there are light scratches in areas. Also note there is a large spot on the drivers' door paint that is damaged, and the bumpers and spoiler paint has faded
Interior is in great shape, except the dash. Southern California sun has taken it's toll on the original dash, I have a carpet cover on there masking the cracks and splitting
Targa Top does leak if not tightened down properly
A/C works, but does not hold a charge (all gas will leak in about 24 hours)
