sony: my speedo does work but it bounces around but still staying with the actual speed. i'll check that out thanks for the info.
ma70: thanks for the welcome. according to a website that deals with obd1 codes. code 11 only comes up on cars up to 1991. thanks for the tips, i will try those things out and see what happens. btw, my supra is n/a.
