Code 41 isn't something you adjust for... it's flat out a bad TPS, ECU or wiring.... TPS and bad wiring being the more common two and TPS being the most common of all.

You don't need to disconnect the battery entirely to reset the ECU, the EFI fuse does the same job and you don't have to reset the clock and your stereo settings.
