First thing is to forget about 400hp from the 7mge. Go with a 7mgte at the min. since it is already turbo from factory and boosting a 7mge has been concluded to be not worth the effort. It probably would not be that expensive or that difficult to swap in a 1j with minimal work. And as far as weight reduction, it is possible but can get expensive once you reach a certain point.
