Actually there's no difference in the diffs for the 6spd. '96+ Mkiv autos didn't have a torsen diff however (so one-wheel-peel is a problem).

The '96+ Abs system is not as feature-rich, but the engine bay is a bit cleaner. Of course '96+'s are OBDII vs OBDI. Other than that, they're all the same.
