Motors that come with forced induction from the factory have a lower compression ratio. 7mge's have a 9.1:1 compression, whereas the 7mgte's compression was 8.4:1. You would have to buy lower compression pistons, injectors, exhaust manifold, intercooler setup, your turbo, and a non n/a ecu. It's programmed for an n/a motor, which is more aggressive to make up for the lack of power. Unless you have AAA i wouldn't suggest running a turbo'ed n/a without taking the neccessary (and costly) steps. A full 7mgte swap would be much quicker, easier, and probably cheaper in the long run. If you're only doing it to be unique though, go for it. I'm sure someone can give you a ride back when your motor comes through your roof. lol
