I can't tell you easiest ways to make that kind of power, as everyone has a different method to their madness.

Swap wise, for an 87, you'll need to either change the front k member to use round style mounts (89+ k member) or get swap mount brackets so the 2j can use the older mounts. I'm sure you'll either have to use a 7mgte tachometer, or get a 1j tach (higher red zone), but the 7m non turbo tach won't work. And from what I know, you'll have to take the head from the 7m ac compressor, and use it on the 2j compressor to use the stock ac lines. Computer wise I've heard of some guys using 7mgte wire harness on the jz engine, but I don't know how well that turns out. To do it properly you'll have to use the 2jz ecu, but it's a major wiring headache, plus I hear it doesn't work properly unless you have the fuel pump computer as well? Ask around, thesupraforums should have more info on the swap.

1jz-gte swap (Currently spun #3 rod bearings), Apexi high flow filter, Greddy thrust 3" downpipe, N1 3" catback with cat delete tube, 1 peice driveshaft, Bar and Plate intercooler, and 440 JDM 2jz injectors.

Possible 2jz lower block swap in the works if I can't rebuild the 1j. So troublesome.
