so turning towards a positive range will advance my timing allowing more power in higher rpm's but not allowing a smooth engine timing in lower steadier rpm's? I'm assuming turning it towards the negative range will retard my timing allowing more power in lower rpm's to allow quicker acceleration but losing out on top speed?
